You retain full ownership of every photo you upload to Fitmy. We do not claim any rights over your images. They are stored solely for the purpose of providing you with AI-powered body composition analysis and progress tracking. You can view, download, or permanently delete any photo at any time from your Progress page or Profile settings.
All progress photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage with industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Access is restricted to your authenticated account only. Our AI analysis runs in a secure, isolated environment — no human reviews your photos. The AI processes the image and returns structured analysis data (strengths, areas to improve, recommendations). The original image is never shared with third parties.
Fitmy uses OpenAI's GPT-4o vision model to analyze progress photos. The AI receives your image and returns a structured assessment of visible muscle groups, body composition estimates, and personalized recommendations. No human at Fitmy or OpenAI sees your photo. The AI does not store or remember your images across sessions. Each analysis is processed independently and anonymously.
You have the absolute right to delete any or all of your progress photos at any time. Deletion is permanent and immediate — photos are removed from our storage within seconds. If you delete your Fitmy account entirely, all associated photos, plans, logs, and data are permanently erased from our systems. This is a complete, irreversible deletion, not a soft delete.
Fitmy will never share your progress photos with other users, partners, advertisers, or any external entity. Your photos are never used for training machine learning models without your explicit consent. We do not run ads on our platform and never will. Your data is not a product — our subscription revenue funds the service, not your personal information.
Progress photos should be fitness-related body photos taken in appropriate attire (underwear, swimwear, sports bra, shorts, gym wear). Photos are automatically validated by AI to ensure they are fitness-related and appropriate. Non-fitness images, screenshots, or inappropriate content will be rejected and deleted. We maintain these standards to ensure a safe, focused fitness environment for all users.
